廖琨伟先生成都东商务区凯悦尚萃酒店总经理

2024年7月1日起，廖琨伟先生正式出任凯悦酒店集团旗下成都东商务区凯悦尚萃酒店总经理。拥有逾二十多年高端品牌酒店工作经验的廖先生，将凭借其专业的酒店知识及服务理念和扎实的筹备及运营功底，带领酒店掀开非同凡响的惊喜篇章——西南首家凯悦尚萃酒店——成都东商务区凯悦尚萃酒店，预计将于2025年开业。

廖琨伟先生出生于位于马来西亚西北海岸美丽的海港城市槟城，并且在18岁时随家人移居新加坡。他热爱在旅行中结识新朋友，体验不同的文化，因此选择加入酒店业作为其职业发展的起点。他说，“我热爱与人交流，竭力为所有客人提供宾至如归的服务，在酒店上班对我来说并不仅仅是一份工作，更像是一种生活方式，每一天都充满新奇且兼具挑战。”

2003年从澳大利亚墨尔本拉筹伯大学毕业后，廖先生在马来西亚云顶酒店前厅部开启了他的酒店职业生涯。在接下来的12年里，他先后在香格里拉集团旗下不同国家、不同城市的酒店，于前厅部、运营部、房务部担任了多个管理职务。

2015年，他加入成都君悦酒店担任行政房务总监，并且在2017年调转至长沙君悦酒店担任酒店经理。两年后，他在浙江安吉阿丽拉酒店担任代理总经理一职，并于2020年调转至兰州凯悦酒店、2022年调转至武汉东湖阿丽拉酒店，均担任总经理一职。近期，他在完成MBA课程后，也刚刚获得瑞士酒店管理学院硕士学位。

在谈到他的新岗位时，他说道：“我的主要目标就是成功完成成都东商务区凯悦尚萃酒店的盛大开业，致力于向西南首家凯悦尚萃酒店的宾客提供优质的产品和服务并实现酒店利润最大化。我希望可以打造一种家庭式的工作氛围，并帮助我的团队成员实现其个人和职业的发展目标。”

Mr. Clavin Leow – General Manager of Hyatt Centric the Ring Chengdu

Mr. Clavin Leow has been appointed as the General Manager of Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu as of July 1, 2024. Mr. Leow, who has more than 20 years of working experience in high-end brand hotels, will lead the hotel to open an extraordinary chapter of surprises - Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu, with his professional hotel knowledge, service concept, and operation skills.

Clavin was born on Penang Island off the north western coast of Malaysia and relocated to Singapore with his family at 18. He was drawn to the hospitality industry because he wanted to travel, meet new people, and learn about new cultures. “I have a strong passion for serving people and making them feel as comfortable as my own family,” he says. “Working in the hospitality industry doesn’t feel like a job; it’s more like a lifestyle. Each day is unique, and I find it inspiring.”

After graduating with a diploma in Hospitality Management from La Trobe University in Melbourne in 2003, Clavin commenced his hospitality career as a Front Office Assistant at Resorts World Genting in Pahang, Malaysia. Over the next 12 years, he progressed in front office, operations, rooms, and management roles at Shangri-La Hotels in different countries and cities.

In 2015, Clavin joined the Hyatt family as Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms at Grand Hyatt Chengdu before moving to Grand Hyatt Changsha in 2017 as Hotel Manager. Two years later, he became Interim General Manager at Alila Anji in Zhejiang province before advancing to his inaugural General Manager role at Hyatt Regency Lanzhou in Gansu province in 2020. Since 2022, Clavin has been General Manager at Alila Donghu Wuhan in the capital of Hubei province. He also recently attained a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School.

“My goal is to open and operate Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu successfully by offering the best class of Hyatt Centric products and services,” says Clavin of his new role. “My future team and I are focused on bringing the first Hyatt Centric hotel in southwestern China to life so our distinguished guests can go forth and discover and leave with a great story to tell. I will continue to support and assist my associates to reach their personal and professional goals and create a family-like working environment.”
