　　2011年11月18日，300余位来自大使馆，媒体及公司的贵宾们，齐聚北京千禧大酒店大堂，共同见证2011年度北京千禧大酒店圣诞点灯仪式。

　　优美的圣诞主题背景音乐，和蔼的圣诞老人及美丽的圣诞女孩，将点灯仪式的序幕正式拉开。在总经理陈海洋先生精彩的双语致辞之后，由陈先生亲手将高达8.5米并载满各式梦幻彩灯的圣诞之树正式点亮，欢呼声，赞叹声此起彼伏，络绎不绝，

　　“Do they know it"s Christmas. ..." 伴随着悦耳的圣诞歌声悠扬奏起，嘉宾们悄然起舞，全场气氛达到high点。来自北京国际学校的孩子们随后进行了精彩的唱诗表演。令每位嘉宾都沉浸在这喜悦的节日气氛之中，久久回味。

　　赠人玫瑰，手留余香。活动当日，酒店还特别邀请了北京SOS儿童村的村长妈妈及孩子们，与大家共同享受这即温馨又愉悦的难忘之夜。

　　Do they know it’s Christmas

　　A Very Special Christmas Tree Ceremony at Grand Millennium Beijing

　　Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas… especially at Grand Millennium Beijing, as the all new 8.5m Christmas tree and decorations were unveiled on Friday 18 November 2011. Hundreds of people including Ambassadors, under-privileged children from the “Beijing SOS Children’s Village” and even Santa Claus himself with several of his helpers gathered in the hotel lobby for a spectacular ceremony to get the Yuletide Season underway.

　　General Manager Mr. Gino Tan commenced a magnificent light show to the Band Aid anthem of “Do they know it’s Christmas” which was followed by children from the “International School of Beijing” singing Christmas Carols to the crowds delight. The entertainment continued with an acoustic trio performance with the more than 400 guests partaking in the Christmas Gastronomic feast prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.

　　Grand Millennium Beijing is a large international branded 5-star hotel located in the Central Business District just inside the East 3rd Ring Road. Bookings are currently being taken for Christmas and end-of-year staff parties.
