走统万城国家考古遗址公园

统万城遗址是中国历史上十六国时期匈奴族后裔赫连勃勃所建立的大夏国都城遗址，也是匈奴族在人类历史长河中留下的唯一都城遗址，距今已有1600多年历史。

Tongwancheng (Tongwan City) is the capital of Daxia Kingdom, ruled by the great king Comxxpuda of Xiongnu during the Sixteen-Kingdom period in Chinese history. It is also the only capital site left by Xiongnu in the long history of mankind, with over 1600 years of history.

统万城遗址目前保留较为完整的部分有城墙、城垣马面、西南角台、永安台、西门瓮城等。

At present, the relatively well-preserved parts of Tongwancheng Sites include the city wall, Fortified Tower, Southwest Corner Tower, Yong'an Tower, Ximen Wengcheng and other ruins.

Tongwancheng Sites Museum

博物馆以统万城遗址及其出土的文物为依据，结合历史文献记载，生动而全面地向大家讲述统万城这座人类历史长河中的瑰宝以及建造这一瑰宝的主人——匈奴民族的历史故事。历经大夏、北魏、西魏、北周、隋、唐、五代、北宋、西夏，统万城积淀了丰富的多元民族文化。

Based on Tongwancheng Sites and the unearthed cultural relics, also supported by historical documents, the museum demonstrates the history of the Tongwancheng and Xiongnu vividly and comprehensively. Passing through various dynasties such as Great Xia, Northern Wei, Western Wei, Northern Zhou, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Northern Song, and Western Xia, Tongwancheng boasts rich multi-ethnic culture.

统万城遗址无论从历史学、考古学、民族学、人类学还是古代政治经济、文化艺术、军事防卫、城市建设和自然环境变迁等方面都极具历史价值、艺术价值、学术价值和社会价值，是毛乌素沙漠生态环境变迁，以及人与自然如何协调发展的历史见证，更是草原文化与农耕文化相互渗透交融的典范例证。

Tongwancheng Sites convey great value in history, archaeology, ethnology, anthropology, ancient political economy, culture and art, military defense, urban construction and natural environment changes. It witnesses the shifts in the ecological environment of the Maowusu Desert and the coordination between mankind and natural development. The site is also a model example of the mutual penetration of grassland culture and agricultural culture.
