Crown Hotels Welcomes Kylie Burchmore as Group Director Sales and Marketing

　　Crown’s Executive General Manager, Hotels and Retail, Peter Crinis is pleased to announce the appointment of Kylie Burchmore to the newly created position of Group Director Sales and Marketing for Crown Hotels.

　　Kylie will be based in Melbourne and will lead the Crown Hotels Sales and Marketing teams across Crown’s Melbourne, Sydney and Hong Kong offices.

　　Kylie will work closely with the team in creating business strategies and activities to further drive the success of Crown Hotels, whilst continuing to develop tourism industry alliances.

　　Kylie joins Crown with over 10 years’ of extensive experience as a Sales and Marketing Director in the 5-star hospitality industry. Her work experience spans a number of high-calibre luxury hotels including Hyatt International in Melbourne, Swissôtel in Sydney and the Duxton Group of Hotels in both Melbourne and Sydney.

　　Crown Hotels encompasses over 1600 rooms across three award-winning properties, the luxurious Crown Towers, contemporary Crown Metropol - which opened in April 2010 – and relaxed Crown Promenade Hotel.

　　The new lobby of Crown Towers has been unveiled and the hotel"s new Crystal Club lounge will be completed in time for Melbourne"s Spring Racing Carnival in October. The hotel"s new Deluxe and Crystal Villas on the top floors of the hotel have recently been completed. The 32 villas include a Chairman’s Villa which spans over an entire floor, four Presidential Villas, 16 Crystal Villas and 11 Deluxe Villas.
