Maritim opens second hotel in China

　　The Maritim Hotel Shenyang has been in operation since June 2011. This is Maritim’s second hotel in China.

　　The Maritim Hotel Shenyang is located in the megacity of the same name, which, as the hub of the up-and-coming Yuhong economic zone, is regarded as the cultural and economic centre of north-eastern China. International companies have branches here, and BMW is extending its capacity and will be opening its second plant soon.

　　This spacious 5-star hotel has 631 elegantly furnished rooms and suites, all with LCD TV, high-speed Internet access and minibars; some rooms have balconies. The numerous seminar and congress facilities may be of interest to business travellers: with its 1,450 square metres, the largest hall is suitable for events with up to 1,400 guests. In addition, there are 15 other conference rooms, ranging in size from 80 to 430 square metres, all equipped with the latest audio and video technology.

A "Chinese restaurant" offers a selection of typical local dishes and beverages. The "German restaurant" offers traditional dishes and German beer and is particularly popular with Chinese guests. Guests staying on the "Executive Floor" also have all-day access to the "Executive Lounge".
