Marriott Launches 720-room Hotel in Shanghai

　　Marriott International has opened the 39-storey, 720-room Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre in Shanghai, China.

　　The hotel is located on Xizang Middle Road and overlooks People"s Square - the official geographic centre of the city.

　　All of the hotel"s rooms feature 42-inch LCD televisions with plug-and-play MP3 and laptop connectivity, iPod docking stations, high-speed wireless internet and marble bathrooms. The hotel"s five dining outlets include Inagiku, the century-old Japanese restaurant chain, as well as Chinese restaurant Man Ho, and the Lounge with a 30-metre-high atrium.

　　The entire fifth level is a dedicated events floor offering more than 2,000 square metres of space, including two pillar-less ballrooms and seven breakout rooms.
