St Regis Opens New Hotel in China

　　St Regis Hotels & Resorts, which is part of the Starwood accommodation group, has expanded its presence in Asia with the opening of a new property in Shenzhen, China.

　　The St Regis Shenzhen is the brand"s tallest hotel and occupies the top 28 floors of the tallest building in the city.

　　It comprises 257 guestrooms and 40 suites offering panoramic views across Shenzhen, as well as the Iridium spa and a range of restaurants and lounges.

　　Paul James, global brand leader for St Regis, said the opening of the new hotel marks an important moment for the chain as it continues to grow and offer experiences for a new generation of affluent travellers.

　　General manager Stephen Ford added: "With our superb location, sophisticated service and refined elegance, we look forward to offering guests an unparalleled experience both befitting of the destination and true to the St Regis legacy."

　　The new property is the brand"s fourth opening in Asia in the last six months, with other establishments recently being unveiled in Bangkok, Tianjin and Sanya Yalong Bay.
