Archipelago Hotels And Resorts Appoint New Vice President - Operations

Mr. Peter Hourigan

　　Archipelago Hotels and Resorts have appointed Peter J. Hourigan as Vice President - Operations.

　　Peter Hourigan is a seasoned international executive with over 25 years of experience in hospitality operations. A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree from Griffith University, Australia, Peter also studied at the Swiss Hotel School, Les Roches. He has held senior roles in locations such as USA, UK, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and numerous postings across Australia in luxury properties.

　　Peter brings to his new position, a multi-functional background from his General Manager roles with hotels & resorts, convention centres, spas, serviced luxury apartments, and golf & country clubs. He is also an opening specialist with experience in brand changes and reflagging of properties, as well as in operations requiring post-disaster recovery.

　　As Vice President - Operations, he will be responsible for the operations of Archipelago Hotels and Resorts’ existing hotels and resorts and will also be involved in new projects as the company continues to grow its portfolio of managed properties.
