  A Lebanese national, Fadi will be responsible for implementing regular on-the-job trainings in line with Fraser Suites guidelines or policies. He will also take responsibility for managing food & beverage costs, analyzing budgets, controlling profit & loss variances, planning marketing campaigns and dealing with suppliers and contractors for the hotel.

  Announcing Fadi"s appointment as the food and beverage manager for the restaurant, Mustapha Henini, General Manager of Fraser Suites Doha said, "His wide-range of experiences in food and beverage operations coupled with his excellent customer service skills are a great advantage to the hotel. With his expertise, we can ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all our guests."

  Fadi"s hospitality career began in 2000 as a captain waiter at the Mzaar Intercontinental Hotel in Faraya Lebanon. He joined the Le Royal Hotel in Dbayeh, Lebanon in 2003 as restaurant & banqueting supervisor where he functioned as an active pre-opening staff. He was involved in staff training, setting up for wedding events and conferences for the hotel.

  Determined to take his career to the next level, Mr. Waked moved to Doha in 2006 to work with Wataniya restaurant (a Lebanese Mediterranean concept) as a Restaurant Manager. Here, he managed to install several control measures including food & beverage controls, cost & purchasing controls. He led a successful marketing campaign that resulted in about 3 per cent increased sales revenue for the restaurant. This achievement earned him a promotion to the position of Operations Manager in 2010.

  Fadi holds a Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration with a major in Hospitality Management and Tourism from Notre Dame University in Loueize, Lebanon. He speaks four languages including Arabic, English, French and Spanish and enjoys travelling, music and sports at his spare time.
