Swiss International Hotels & Resorts (China) Announces the Launch of Swiss International Hotel Xiamen – The Group’s First Hotel in China

　　Shanghai (CN) April 22, 2012--Swiss International Hotels & Resorts (China) today announced the launch of its first hotel in China, the 588-room Swiss International Hotel Xiamen.

　　The deluxe 5-star property is located in the heart of the modern metropolis of Xiamen, a major city on the southeast coast of China.

　　Overlooking the historical Gulangyu Island and its surrounding waters, the 588-room hotel enjoys a prime location within easy access of business, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment hubs. It is 15 minutes from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, 20 minutes from the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Centre, 10 minutes from the railway station and just 5 minutes by foot from the ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island.

　　Well-appointed guest rooms are spacious and maximize on the tranquil views of Gulangyu Island and the surrounding waters, or the cityscape. A welcome retreat with Suisse signature bedding, deluxe bathrooms with rainforest showers, all rooms include complimentary WiFi and internet access.

　　Spread out on Levels 3 and 4 are 3,500 square meters of comprehensively-equipped meeting and function space, with a versatile choice of Grand Ballroom or 14 additional rooms of varying sizes to suit any occasion. Most of the meeting rooms enjoy views of the great outdoors.

　　Five dining and entertainment venues offer guests a variety of choices ranging from local to international cuisine:

　　The all-day dining Le Rivage serves live kitchen buffets as well as a la carte with Swiss signature dishes.

　　JuJu An Japanese Restaurant prepares authentic Japanese cuisine with sushi and teppanyaki counters, and tatami room dining.

　　Xinnan Xuan Chinese Restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese and local fare, complemented with regional Chinese favorites, in an elegant setting.

　　For alfresco dining with breathtaking views of the sea, the Café Terrace with its unique outdoor setting is open all day from March till November.
