Recently, MEADIN ACADEMY published the "TOP200 List of Global Hotel Brands (Greater China) in January 2024". The data show that the average of the TOP10 index is 521.8, the average of the TOP100 index is 276.17, and the average of the TOP200 index is 213.62.Among them, Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton, Hyatt Regency, and Double Tree are ranked as the top 10 of all.

From a quantitative perspective, Marriott International (22), Wyndham Hotel Group (15), Accor Group (15), Hyatt Hotels Corporation (11), InterContinental Hotels Group (11), Hilton Worldwide (10), Radisson Hotel Group (7), Langham Hospitality Group (5), Louvre Hotels Group (5), and Banyan Group (5) are Top 10.

From the perspective of TOP1-100 brand distribution, the brands of Marriott International, Wyndham Hotel Group, Accor Group, Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Radisson Hotel Group, Accord Hotels Group, Huazhu Group and Langham Hospitality Group are listed in the TOP10. With the number of brands at 16, 11, 10, 8, 8, 8, 7, 4, 4, 3 and 3 respectively, InterContinental Hotels Group (average index 381.39), Hilton Worldwide (average index 347.47) and Marriott International (average index 309.10) rank as TOP3, all above 300.00. It is reported that the number of top ten hotel groups shortlisted brands reached 74, and the TOP100 accounted for 74%.

According to the data, from the perspective of TOP101-200 brand distribution, the brands of Marriott International, Accor Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Saville Hotels and Wyndham Hotel Group are listed in the top five, with the number of brands at 6, 5, 4, 4 and 4 respectively; The brands of Dorsett Hotels Group, Dusit Hotels Group, Radisson Hotel Group, Louvre Hotel Group and Meno Hotel Group are ranked 6-10, all with 3 brands.

(2) Comment Index (CI): The accumulation relates to user reviews towards a certain brand’s opening hotels on various OTA (Online Travel Agency) websites over a period of time.

(3) Investment Index (II): Over a period of time, the franchise and development status of a certain brand in the Greater China market, including accumulative opening status, new opening status, accumulative signing status, new signing status, urban coverage density, investment owner attention, etc.
