The Asia Pacific region reported a 1.7% increase in occupancy to 66.6%. Average daily rate remained nearly flat (-0.2% to US$105.04). Revenue per available room rose 1.5% to US$69.93.
The region’s occupancy for May increased 1.4 percent to 68.1 percent. However, average daily rate in the Asia Pacific region dropped 6.9 percent to US$105.54.
In August 2014, the region’s occupancy rose 1.1 percent to 72.6 percent; its average daily rate remained virtually flat, rising 0.3 percent to US$116.54.
