Wyndham"s Margin Improves 12% in Q3 of 2011
Wyndham Worldwide Corp., Parsippany, New Jersey, saw its profit margin increase 12% in the third quarter of 2011 to US$175 million from US$156 million during the same period in 2010.

Wyndham Worldwide Corp., Parsippany, New Jersey, saw its profit margin increase 12% in the third quarter of 2011 to US$175 million from US$156 million during the same period in 2010.
The uptick was buoyed by a 9% increase in sales in the company’s lodging sector and a 32% increase in sales in its vacation exchange divisions.
“I am pleased with our strong results,” said Stephen Holmes, chairman and CEO of Wyndham. “We continued to thoughtfully deploy our free cash flow to repurchase our common shares invest in our company.”
Free cash flow increased 24% to US$699 million in the first three quarters from 2011 from US$564 million during the same period in 2010. During the third quarter the company repurchased 10.2 million shares for US$304 million.
