Accor Revenue Forecast For 2012 Below Estimates

　　Accor’s projected revenue for 2012 is between €510 million (US$639 million) and €530 million (US$664 million), less than market forecasts of €533 million (US$668) according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

　　Accor, Courcouronnes, France, announced the forecast as part of its full half-year earnings report, stating that while visibility on the second half of 2012 is still limited by the uncertain economic environment, Accor has not yet observed any tangible signs of a downturn in demand, except in Southern Europe.

　　As previously announced, Accor’s revenue for the first half of 2012 was up 3.6% year-on-year on a like-for-like basis. The company saw a net profit of €80 million before the impact of the Motel 6 disposal.
