Recently, the Institute released the "TOP200 List of Global Hotel Brands (Greater China) in April 2024". Among them, Hampton、Crowne Plaza、InterContinental、Hilton、Holiday Inn Express、Sheraton、Super 8、Marriott、Holiday Inn、oyo are ranked as the top 10 of all.
There are three newly joined hotel brands in the list, they are Caption by Hyatt, Hawthorn EXTENDED STAY and Canbeauty, among which the Caption by Hyatt MBI index has grown by leaps and bounds, ranking 139th.
According the brand dimension analysis: the data shows that the average value of TOP10 index is 516.8, TOP100 index is 266.81, and TOP200 index is 208.95, which increased 3.55%, 7.85% and 5.17% respectively. From the data, we can see that the international hotel brand index in April has a significant growth trend, especially for the leading brand (TOP100), which is deeply influenced by the marketing activities of May Day holiday.
Then comes to the group dimension: 1. The number of brands by group are listed as the TOP 10: Marriott International, Wyndham Hotel Group, Accor Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton Worldwide, Radisson Hotel Group, Langham Hospitality Group, Louvre Hotels Group, Banyan Group. The number of these brands are 22, 15, 15, 12, 11, 10, 7, 5, 5 and 5 respectively. In addition, LUX* Resorts & Hotels (newly listed), Canbeauty Hotels & Resorts (newly listed), Wyndham Hotel Group and Hyatt Hotels Corporation increased in the number of brands in April. 2. Group brand index - The overall index of hotel groups in April (62.50% groups with month-on-month growth, 34.72% groups with month-on-month decline and 2.78% groups unchanged) showed a significant rebound, of which a total of 15 group brands with a month-on-month growth of 10% or more.

(3) Investment Index (II): Over a period of time, the franchise and development status of a certain brand in the Greater China market, including accumulative opening status, new opening status, accumulative signing status, new signing status, urban coverage density, investment owner attention, etc.
