Among them, Hilton Garden Inn has achieved a ranking rebound.

Among them, Hilton Garden Inn has achieved a ranking rebound.

Key Data Interpretation:

1、Brand Dimension Analysis:The data shows that the average index of the top 10 is 514.36, the average index of the top 100 is 272.85, and the average index of the top 200 is 217.34. The average index of each gradient has increased. Among them, the proportion of brands with an index of 500 or above is 3%, the proportion of brands in the 400-500 range is 3%, the proportion of brands in the 300-400 range is 9.5%, the proportion of brands in the 200-300 range is 19%, and the proportion of brands in the 100-200 range is 65.5%. The number of high-index brands has slightly increased, and the tail-end brands have remained stable. This indicates that the competitiveness of top brands continues to strengthen, while mid-tier and tail-end brands still have considerable room for improvement. Notably, Liru Hotel has jumped from 82nd to 42nd place. This is mainly due to the brand's "single-guest revenue" algorithm based on new consumption logic, its emphasis on product uniqueness and experience, and the group's accelerated opening of new hotels.

2、Group Dimension Analysis:Number of Groups Brands ——Marriott International, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Accor, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Jin Jiang & Radisson Hotel Group, Langham Hotels International, Agoda Hotels Group, and Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts have the top 10 number of brands. This month, InterContinental Hotels Group has one more brand in the list (+1), while Hyatt Hotels Corporation has one less brand (-1). Notably, InterContinental Hotels Group's Hotel Indigo has made it to the top ranks. After its first store opened in Shanghai, the second one opened in Hefei. From Shanghai to Hefei, Hotel Indigo adheres to the concept of "local home", continuously integrating life aesthetics and urban inspiration into the travel experience. Meanwhile, InterContinental Hotels Group's Kimpton Hotels & Resorts officially entered the Greater China region in March 2026 and ranked within the top 200 in its first month, and continued to rise this month. 

Groups Brand Index——The overall index of hotel groups this month still shows a growth trend, but the growth rate is gradually flattening. Among them, 58.2% of hotel groups have a month-on-month increase in their index, while 41.8% have a month-on-month decrease. The groups with more significant growth rates are Langham Hotels Group (12.2%), Radisson Hotel Group (11.1%), and Fosun Tourism Group (10.98%), while SH Hotel Group (-15%) and Aman Resorts (-13.5%) have more significant declines. Nearly 60% of hotel groups are showing an upward trend, but the decline of the downward groups is significant, and their performance is under pressure. Among them, Langham Hotels Group stands out. Not only did it introduce its two brands, Cordis Hotels and Resorts and Yitel, to Xiongan New Area, but it also introduced its Michelin-starred restaurant "Tang Court" in Zhejiang Province. This has greatly accelerated its domestic layout.

3、Key Market Trend Insights:1)Demand for high-quality hotel accommodation is significant. During the Qingming Festival and the period leading up to the May Day holiday, the popularity of high-quality hotels soared. Data from Tongcheng Travel shows that during the Spring Festival and Qingming Festival, the booking popularity of high-quality hotels in Guangzhou and Shenzhen increased by 210% and 190% respectively year-on-year. As May Day approaches, various regions are distributing cultural and tourism consumption vouchers to boost consumption, further driving high-end accommodation consumption. Data shows that the booking popularity of high-quality hotels in the Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay areas of Sanya increased by 47% year-on-year. This indicates that most consumers are willing to increase their budget when traveling and are willing to spend for high-quality experiences, with a reduced sensitivity to consumption.

2)Parent-child families are the main force in travel. Data from Tuniu shows that the number of parent-child family trips accounts for over 50%. Data from Tongcheng Travel shows that the overall booking popularity of hotel family rooms has increased by nearly 50% year-on-year, with the booking volume of family rooms in places like Shaoxing, Zhejiang and Rizhao, Shandon

g increasing by over 80%. The Spring Festival policy has effectively stimulated the travel demand of parent-child families, making family travel the core force in cultural and tourism travel during this holiday.

3)The business travel market is accelerating its recovery. Data from the Tongcheng Travel platform shows that during the week of the Canton Fair, the search popularity for Guangzhou as a destination increased by 86% compared to the previous month. As of April 13th, the booking popularity of hotels in Guangzhou during the Canton Fair period increased by 16% year-on-year. The first-quarter financial report of InterContinental Hotels Group confirms the recovery pattern of the business travel market. Data on room revenue from various customer segments shows that the growth rate of the group customer segment is 7%, the business customer segment is 6%, while the leisure and vacation customer segment is only 1%. This indicates that the demand for business travel and exhibition business is continuously recovering, and the high-end hotel market is entering a stage of structural recovery and steady growth.
