张广瑞：七星级酒店何以如此时髦

　　自1998年开始，中国出现了旅游酒店分级定级的标准，于是出现了星级酒店。上星者，荣光;得五星桂冠者，无尚荣光，至少在白金五星级别标准颁布之前。于是，社会上的不少领域，包括厕所在内，也有了星级的说法，也有五星级厕所问世。

　　然而，在中国星级酒店标准推行之初，曾经出现过一些国际品牌的酒店拒绝被“评星”的现象。当然，随着酒店业的迅速发展，当年拒绝被“评星”者归顺了。攀星成了一种风气，有的时候，不得不动用“潜规则”来实现攀登星级顶峰的目标。与此同时，也出现另外一种现象，有的酒店，关注张扬自己的品牌优势，对星级评定兴趣索然。数以百计的经济型酒店是这方面的代表。还有像安缦这样被称作是顶级度假村的酒店，依然是最大限度地保持低调，虽然这个名字出现在世界不少地方，但它们还好像是不食人间烟火，从不问鼎星级之事。

　　在世界上一个曾经鲜为人知的地方，突然出现了一个帆船型酒店，其造型独特，设施豪华，服务上乘。这个酒店的出现可谓一鸣惊人，很快成了这个国家或所在城市的形象代表。一个酒店让一个国家出名，这在世界上的确并不多见。不知道是哪位高人，给了它一顶“七星酒店”的桂冠，顿时成为举世公认的“七星酒店”，尽管没有任何公认的标准来衡量。

　　中国现有的酒店星级标准中只有五个星级。可现实中，人们经常在媒体上见到关于“六星级酒店”和“七星级酒店”的报道。值得注意的是，这样的语言不是出自普通百姓的随意交谈，而是出自官员之口，而所言之事关乎未来的发展规划。真不知所言“七星级”指的是什么样的酒店，这个级别的酒店是依据什么标准而定。其实，使用这样不负责任的语言，无非是要表示要建造人间最高级别的酒店，比现有可循的标准高出两级。遵此逻辑，将来不久会有人提出“八星级”、“十星级”酒店的概念。这无非是一种好大喜功的表现，一种斗富、攀高、造势而已。建造一个酒店，最为重要的是如何满足某一特定市场的需求，作为一种商业服务设施，应当以在经营中获得收益论英雄。如果把建造一个酒店当成出人头地的阶梯，造就一个中看不中用的“白象”，其实大可不必。至少负责任的官员们，不要选择这样的途径浪费政府的钱财。(中国社科院旅游研究中心主任 、博导张广瑞)

　　Since 1998, the classification standard of tourist hotel has come into existence and star-rated hotel accordingly came into our sight. In addition, the new standard also serves as a tipping point of star crazy, for example, there even emerge some star-rated restroom.

　　In fact, at first, some international brand put less impetus on the star fashion, but as time goes on, they have to make compromise with this ponomennon.In China hotel market, many brands are keen on making themselves famous which cause some hidden rules and black box operation for such demands.But, there are some economical hotel chains which has unique selling point and some top luxury brand like The Amman still show low-profile on such stand.

　　In Dubai, the establishment of Burj Al Arab Hotel draws special attention from people all around the world for its luxury decoration and exquisite service. It’s rare that a hotel can make a country famous.

　　In fact, there are just 5 grades for star-rated hotel. But nowadays, 6-star or even 7-star hotel is referred to in reports frequently. And such hotel also becomes some city public plan for some government officials. But what’s such 7-star hotel look like and what’s this standard for identifying them? Frankly, this shows kind of logic to be the first or to be the best. As we all know, a mature development is no longer a move to pursue the greatness or perfection of a city, instead it is more driven by some deep-going economic motives. A waste of money for such conspicuous construction should be prevented.
