The delegates met for the third and final day of the Young Hoteliers Summit 2012 with enthusiasm, excitement and intense motivation.
This year’s summit will feature four additional schools compared to YHS 2010, including Maastricht Hotel Management School (The Netherlands), New York University (USA), and Haaga Helia University (Finland). Each will be sending student representatives to take part in the activities over the two days, including the Creativity Challenge proposed by The Rezidor Hotel Group.
At 8:00 am on Monday, March 21st 2011, 45 delegates from 13 hospitality management schools from across the globe gathered at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausannne (EHL) to participate in this year’s Young Hoteliers Summit.

The value created during the annual Young Hoteliers Summit at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne has shown strong potential for growth.
Thomas Willms, vice president and regional director for East and Central Europe, then addressed the topic of "Branding in the context of hospitality". This emphasised the importance of brands in modern day lifestyles, and how companies should address this marketing tool as a crucial platform for differentiating and establishing themselves as leaders in the industry.
The Young Hoteliers Summit 2010, which took place on the 28th/29th January 2010, was an all around huge success for its participants, the organising team and industry professionals alike.
