一体化设计有两个内涵：第一，建筑、景观、室内，要同步设计，互相渗透，互相协调，做到完整统一;第二，室内设计过程当中，一定要统筹好机电、灯光、陈设及视觉体系，一定要一体统筹。
酒店要有人性化的设计，看不见的服务。丽江悦榕庄，有一位客人表扬酒店管理公司，他说，整个酒店我看不到服务员，但是酒店刚开业时候的员工配比跟房间配比系数其实是1：4。你可以想象我们有多少服务员，但是你看不到他。
设计和产品是要能够从情感的角度来做交流，总结为三个词：身，酒店要有一个好的“身体”;心，是每一个酒店的标准;灵魂，做得那么漂亮的身子，被人家抄袭过去以后，身子变成人家了的，他自己则变成了抄袭者。身子变得再漂亮，如果没有好的心和灵魂来配合是没有意义的。
